charmed by my stay!

the window seats were comfortable, a spot to chill while looking at the river and city. the room was particularly large. it had an excellent view. the bathroom felt spacious too!
the expresso machine seemed like it tried too hard to be upscale. i just wanted regular coffee, not a whole production.

the gym included approximately five treadmills and a peloton bike, providing sufficient equipment for a workout. all-day coffee service was available. it offered a convenient perk, not having to go to a coffee shop.

the LOCATION is GREAT. the lobby has a coffee bar open until 6 pm. the rooms included amenities i liked and they seemed a good size.
the room and bathroom wasn't always that clean. there was no thorough cleaning sometimes. i noticed stains on sheets and the sofa pillows had stains ASWELL.

The location was central, near many attractions.
I had issues with street noise at night, difficult to sleep. I was initially offered ear plugs as a solution, not a room change. The hotel should warn guests about the noise issues on lower floors. I found this unacceptable given the price paid per night.

I appreciated the prompt responses from the front desk via text message. Someone addressed requests immediately. I also liked the coffee machine in the lobby. It allowed me to make lattes each morning. Window seats in the room offered a nice touch, I found them great.
The comforter on the bed felt too thin. I would have liked it to be a bit more plush.

Suite Upgrade and Excellent Location

I received an unexpected upgrade to a spacious suite on the 12th floor from Jovan Love, the front office supervisor. The suite included a separate sitting room and tasteful decorations. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean throughout my stay.
There was no bellhop available when I arrived, forcing me to load the cart myself. The valet was chatting inside and did not offer assistance. This initial lack of service was unexpected.

mixed Feelings About this visit
thin mattressstreet noise
i did experience some issues . The sofa bed was not adequate at all. Its pull-out mattress was thin. The noise from the street was also a problem. I could hear ambulances and other vehicles. It really disrupted my sleep. this was even on the 11th floor. the hotel seemed to cut corners on upgrades. Bathrooms near the lobby felt OLD and unclean.
